In working to strengthen the community, EBDI is committed to providing necessary support services to families who live in the area and to those who relocated as part of the project. Our team of Family Advocates works closely with residents and former residents, serving as a trusted point of contact between the community and EBDI.

 The EBDI Family Advocates work with residents to:

• Enroll in workforce development programs
• Find help paying utility bills
• Gain access to health care, and mental health and substance abuse treatment
• Obtain necessary documents during the relocation process
• Avoid foreclosure or eviction
• File for homeowner and other tax credits
• Receive financial, budgeting and credit counseling

EBDI’s Family Advocate attorney is available to provide needed legal services to residents.
